VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITE BAND!

Independent bands from all over the world are invited to compete in a summer long challenge that will test their ability to promote themselves and encourage fan interaction with their music.

Each band will be asked to submit up a video of their music, bands can submit fully produced music videos, footage from live performances, videotaped rehearsals – even a simple photo montage set to an audio track of their music.

The top 30 videos will be reviewed by a judging panel of music industry experts including A&R executives,
producers, managers, and music marketing executives. Their comments will be posted on the homepage for each band – and will remain viewable for all fans throughout the challenge.

The voting period will open July 1st when competing bands will need to promote their inclusion in the contest by
encouraging music fans to watch, comment and vote for their videos. Bands with the most activity will progress
through the various elimination rounds ending in the selection of the top 5 bands.

The top 5 will be flown to Toronto in September and will perform live over two nights. Bands will now be challenged to impress both the live audience and the industry judges. The finale show will be headlined by a major label act, and both nights will be taped for a future webcast or television broadcast.

One grand prize winner will be announced on the second night and will be awarded $25,000 cash, an opening spot on a 6 city cross Canada tour opening for a major label Canadian artist, a Canadian distribution deal, and other music related prizes.
